Dr. David Stirling, D.D.S, M.Cl.D (Ortho)

Dr. David Stirling received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Western Ontario.  He then served as a dental officer with the Canadian Armed Forces in Germany for 3 years and then in Alberta for 1 year.

Wanting to specialize in Orthodontics, he returned to the University of Western Ontario and earned his Master’s of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics.  Upon graduation, Upon graduation, he moved to Orillia, with his family, where he set up his Specialty Practice in Orthodontics. This practice then became Orillia Orthodontics when he became a partner with Dr. Scott MacGregor.  Dr. Stirling also has a satellite orthodontic office in Minden. He is also a proud member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Association of Orthodontics, as well as the Canadian and American Associations of Orthodontics.

Dr. Scott MacGregor received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario.  He then pursued a dental residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Following his training, he earned his Orthodontic degree and Masters of Science degree at the University of Toronto. He then returned to the Hospital for Sick Children to achieve his Orthodontic Fellowship specializing in the treatment of cleft lip and/or palate cases, and other patients with orofacial syndromes.  Dr. MacGregor is also a proud member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Association of Orthodontics, as well as the Canadian and American Associations of Orthodontics.  At present, Dr. MacGregor is a partner at Orillia Orthodontics, has a satellite orthodontic office in the north end of Barrie, and resides in the local area with his family in the Midhurst area.

Through extensive continuing education, Dr. Stirling, Dr. MacGregor and our staff are able to stay up-to-date on state-of-the-art orthodontic solutions.

Dr. Stirling and Dr. MacGregor have achieved board certification through the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as Certified Orthodontic Specialists.  The Royal College of Dental Surgeons is the only governing body which can certify Specialists, in particular Orthodontics, in Ontario and Canada

With a convenient location close to many of our patients’ schools, ample free parking, interest free payment plans (i.e. we finance your treatment in house at 0% for affordable monthly payments) and convenient appointment times, your experience at Orillia Orthodontics will fit easily into your life.

We also use a computerized scheduling and self check-in system which enables us to see our patients on time for their scheduled appointments.  In addition, all of our observation / recall appointments are always “no charge”

Our digital xray equipment allow for us to accurately diagnose your orthodontic problems with the least exposure possible.
